CHARLESTON, W.VA. -- Today marks the start of the second session of the 84th West Virginia Legislature. Members of the 34-seat Senate and 100-seat House have gathered in Charleston, where they're tasked with spending the next 60 days forming new laws and advocating on behalf of their constituents.

As the session begins, take a little time to refamiliarize yourself with legislators from all over the mountain state using this interactive graphic. You can explore either the House or the Senate by clicking the appropriate button. Hover over a circle on the graphic to see information about a senator or delegate. To learn more about a particular legislator, including information on committee assignments and sponsored legislation, click the circle.
