Good evening. The National Weather Service in Charleston is predicting a night of storms for much of southern West Virginia. Here in Kanawha County, the weather service says severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. As of this writing, the coalfield counties of Logan, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo and Wyoming are under a severe thunderstorm watch. Stay safe if you're traveling.
